MOVIE ADS: BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS

On Sunday night, I watched BEYOND THE VALLEY OF THE DOLLS on MOVIES TV NETWORK!

It's been a very long time since I last saw this sleazy, twisted, and surreal-soap-opera.

It was a pleasant and very unexpected surprise.

We need more Russ Meyer flicks on "free" channels!

There were lots of boobs and butts on display. MOVIES TV NETWORK tried to blur most of the areolas, nipples, and other things, but a few of them may have slipped pass. Do you think anyone complained?... Well, You're NOT going to get any complaints from me!... ha-ha-ha.

NOTE: screengrabs are NOT from the MOVIES TV NETWORK broadcast.

BEYOND was directed by Russ "I-LIKE-EM-BIG" Meyer ( 1922 – 2004 ).

It was co-written by Meyer and Roger "ALL-THUMBS" Ebert ( 1942 - 2013 )... if you think I'm going to praise him, you're wrong. I'm not going to bash him either... and I'll leave it at that.

I want to mention my favorite actress in the film, the highly underrated - and gorgeous - Phyllis Davis. And my favorite actor in the flick, the always great Charles Napier ( 1936 - 2011 ).

In my opinion, John Lazar is truly incredible in his role.

This film contains a warehouse full of irresistible eye-candy, such as Dolly Read, Cynthia Myers ( 1950 – 2011 ), Edy Williams, Erica Gavin, and others.

BEYOND was released on legit VHS via FOX.

FOX also released it on legit region one DVD.

  1. Most fun and/or insane part of this movie (other than the obvious stuff) was seeing Coleman Francis (yes, the one-and-only COLEMAN "Yucca Flats" FRANCIS!) playing the drunk at the bar in the party scene.
