Melissa Sue Anderson seems to be best known for two cinematic endeavors that are polar opposites of each other, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME, and LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE. I get nauseous just saying LITTLE HOUSE, ha-ha-ha-ha....
I love HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.
There's no nudity in it. Yet, I've never heard anyone complain about that. Why?... well, unlike most slashers, the story actually grabs your mind, and won't let go. However, it still would have been nice to have seen some "skin"... ha-ha-ha...
A lot of people forget that she appeared in two ABC AFTERSCHOOL SPECIAL movies ( VERY GOOD FRIENDS and WHICH MOTHER IS MINE? ). I can NOT remember if she did more.
Ms. Anderson starred in one of my all time favorite made-for-tv movies. It was called MIDNIGHT OFFERINGS, and she portrayed a witch that was also one hell of a bitch!
As far as I know, MIDNIGHT OFFERINGS was NEVER available on legit VHS ( in the United States ).
There are NO legit region one DVDs either.
I like her range.
