Mickey Flannery works as a police officer in the city of San Pedro ( California - U.S.A. ). His wife is murdered by unknown gunmen in a passing car. All this happens in front of the police station, and their son.

Mickey shoots at the gunmen, their car crashes. He runs to the vehicle, and points a gun at the sole survivor. When the man taunts him, Mickey kills the bastard.

As a result, Mickey is suspended and demoted. When he finally returns to regular duty, things have changed.

After years of living with his grandparents, Jason returns to live with Mickey and his girlfriend.

Their relationship isn't good, and only gets worse, when a criminal named Gideon enters the picture.

Gideon frames Jason for murder.

Mickey tries to clear his son, and in the process, ends up uncovering the ugly truth about his wife's murder.

I love my movies extra cheesy!!!!

This movie is a lot of fun, and the story moves along quickly.

Judd Nelson's wardrobe looks ridiculous!... I start laughing every time he appears on screen.

What's with the sideburns?... ha-ha-ha-ha...

Mr. Nelson's ultra wooden performance is a riot!... It's just too funny for words!

Christopher McDonald is cool, he does a great job with his character.

Alyssa and her Milanos look fantastic! The three of them are quite talented... hardy-har-har!... ;)

CONFLICT OF INTEREST was available on VHS by HBO HOME VIDEO.

This movie was also released on LaserDisc by HBO HOME VIDEO.

Unfortunately, there is NO legit region one DVD, just bootlegs.

I recorded this movie onto a DVD+RW when it aired on THIS TV.
