For those that aren't familiar with the movie, here's the story in a nutshell...
SNUFF is about a man named Satan. He and his female groupies, murder people as they travel throughout the Argentinean countryside.



The original ending was cut. So what happened to it?... I guess we'll never know.

Instead, we get a ridiculous tacked-on ending, that supposedly shows a real life murder. Of course, it's NOT a real murder. But that's what made SNUFF infamous.

Do NOT believe all of the "negative hype". Yes, it's a bad movie, but it certainly does NOT qualify as one of the worst films of all time.

Let me remind all of you, that there are folks making DIY movies in their homes. These films are so horrible, that they make amateur porn flicks seem like "art-house" masterpieces. Believe it or not, many of those CINEMATIC-SHIT-FESTS actually get picked-up by distributors!

If other folks had NOT meddled with SNUFF, it would have been, just another one of Michael and Roberta Findlay's CINEMATIC-SLEEPING-PILLS... no more, no less.



SNUFF is a historic movie... Why?.... Because it had one of the most FUCKING BRILLIANT MARKETING SCHEMES ever!... I do NOT know if this was the first movie to use MANUFACTURED CONTROVERSY as a marketing tool, but it was definitely one of the most memorable.

The FAKE controversy, snowballed into REAL controversy!

SNUFF is one of the greatest examples of how to gain the most amount of publicity, with the least amount of effort.

Now, here's the part that pisses me off... The most FRIGHTENING, OBSCENE, and OFFENSIVE thing about SNUFF, is the ARROGANCE OF THE TAGLINE! Which says,"The film that could only be made in South America... where LIFE is CHEAP!"

Referring to all those diverse nations, as if they where one country, is bad enough. But then, the tagline exclaims that nobody on the continent values life.

That tagline is INCREDIBLY ARROGANT, and a COLOSSAL FUCKING INSULT!

Life is cheap everywhere, especially here in the United States!

Our history of violence and hate is a disgrace.

As a nation, we've managed to turn, murder, abuse, corruption, hate, and hypocrisy into spectator sports.

I LOVE MY COUNTRY, but I refuse to ignore the inexcusable bullshit that occurs in it.

So tell me, WHERE IS LIFE CHEAP?....
