I think most folks remember James Bama and Bill Campbell. And yes, they were, and still are, two of my favorites!

These folks aren't seen as artists by most of the population, and I think that's wrong. We all come into contact with this art everyday. It's right in front of everybody, but they don't see it.

A SALUTE TO ALL THE UNCREDITED ARTISTS.....

There are countless folks that never got credit for their work. You've seen their art since childhood, but you don't know who made it.

Their work appeared on, magazine covers, book covers, cereal boxes, cookie boxes, print ads, matchbook covers, posters, automotive brochures, travel brochures, railroad timetables, calendars, you name it, they did it.


The BARNUM'S ANIMALS CRACKERS box above, is one of the oldest and most iconic pieces of commercial art in the United States... And yet, I can not find anyone that knows who the artists were ( from my personal collection ).

During the VHS era, there was a lot of art on box covers with NO credit, and I've been seeing the same thing with many DVD covers.

I realize most of those artists worked for advertising agencies, but I still think it was wrong for them not to get any credit, and I will NOT apologize for my views.
