Carol and Lynn are identical twins. Unfortunately, they're exact opposites when it comes to dressing and certain types of "friendliness" ( wink, wink ).

Naughty twin Lynn, lives in Montreal Canada and is involved with some very unsavory characters. This gets her in some very deep shit.

Nice twin Carol, lives in Beverly Hills with her husband Michael.

Carol gets a phone call at 4:00 AM. It's Lynn's roommate Sophie, and She informs Carol, that Lynn has disappeared.

Carol goes to Canada to meet Sophie.

While she's there, Carol gets mistaken for her sister. She also finds out about Lynn's secret life as a prostitute.

Detective Steve Delvaux informs Carol, that Lynn is dead.

Shortly after, Sophie also ends up dead.

Carol masquerades as Lynn, and uncovers a conspiracy, that puts her life in danger. But that just seems to make her even more determined to find out the truth.

Even if it costs Carol her life.....

DO I WANT MY MONEY BACK?:
NOOOO!...

I was surprised by how much I liked this movie.

Stepfanie "kick-ass" Kramer, is great as both Carol and Lynn. She makes the twins feel real.

This could have ended up being unintentionally hilarious, but it's not.

I loved the ending.

It feels like one of those "movies of the week" that were so popular back in the 70's and early 80's, except this movie has one set of BOOBS... hooray!, but they do NOT belong to Ms. Kramer... boo!... NOTE: The preceding, was NOT a criticism upon the beautiful bosoms that ARE on display!

I have no idea, if TWIN SISTERS was ever shown theatrically in other countries.

A VHS was released by VIDMARK.

The region one DVD was released by PLATINUM and is OUT-OF-PRINT.
