and many others.....
Cameron ( Andy Whitfield 1971 – 2011 ) and Beth ( Tabrett Bethell )
Hank ( Boris Brkic )
Marvin ( Marshall Napier )
It's 1979... Cameron, and his pregnant wife Beth, are traveling across Australia.
They stop at a rundown motel. The manager is a real sleaze-bag. The things that come out of his mouth, should be interpreted as a warning, but Cameron doesn't listen to his instincts.
Soon after, Beth vanishes without a trace. Cameron calls local law enforcement. The police are no help at all.
Meanwhile, Beth wakes up in a tub full of ice and discoverers her baby has been surgically removed.
As it turns out, this is just the beginning of Beth and Cameron's nightmare.....

DO I WANT MY MONEY BACK?:
THE CLINIC is a well made and beautifully photographed movie, and I love it - these folks knew what they were doing!
This movie was a genuine surprise. I mean that in the best way possible.
I had zero expectations, and by the end of the movie, I found myself feeling extremely happy to have found this jewel of a film.
As with LOS APARECIDOS ( aka THE APPEARED ), I found out about this movie purely by accident. I found the DVD in my local WALMART's bargain bin - the same day I found THE APPEARED.
I wonder how much influence, if any, real life events had on the writer / director of THE CLINIC.
I'm referring to the INSANELY DESPICABLE real life CHILD ABDUCTIONS, of Aboriginal BABIES in Australia.
QUOTES from the BBC website ( 9 August 2007 ).....
"THE AGONY OF AUSTRALIA'S STOLEN GENERATION"
"Bruce Trevorrow's journey into legal history began on Christmas Day 1957"
"Then just 13 months old, he was suffering from stomach pains and his father, Joseph, asked neighbours to take him for treatment to the Adelaide Children's Hospital in South Australia"
"On admission, the hospital recorded that Bruce had no parents and that he was neglected and malnourished, three untruths that were to change his life forever"
"a landmark study published in 1997, found that at least 100,000 Aborigines had been taken from their parents and placed in the care of institutions, religious missions or white foster parents"
A region one DVD was released by IMAGE ENTERTAINMENT ( it's a BARE BONES disc ).
